The European Union Roundtable of Financial Centres (EU-RFC) convened in Tallinn on 16 April 2026, hosted by FinanceEstonia, bringing together representatives of Europe’s leading financial centres. The meeting focused on strengthening the EU’s financial ecosystem in support of a more innovative, competitive and resilient European economy.
Following the Tallinn meeting, EU-RFC members have issued a communiqué outlining shared priorities and practical recommendations. The document highlights the need to reduce fragmentation, improve cross-border capital flows, support innovation-friendly regulation, and build secure and interoperable financial infrastructures — while underlining that cooperation between European financial centres is essential for Europe’s long-term competitiveness and strategic autonomy.
